Cemetery Service Setup

No felonies. No theft of any kind. Misdemeanors are okay except theft.

You can't be afraid or uncomfortable with death or funerals. The day will start in the shop. Will load truck with everything that is set up at a grave site for a graveside service. Green grass carpet, tent to go over chairs, chairs and also the vault. The vault is 2700#s and is loaded by a forklift/pallet jack type equipment. Will Operate and trained to do. Everything is loaded on the trailer. Will not be driving the truck as a temp. Once hired in will drive the company pickup w/a flatbed trailer attached carrying the vault. Will drive anywhere from 45-1hr, sometimes 1.5-2hr during the furthest point to the cemetery. Unload and set up everything. The hole for the casket is already dug by the cemetery (and filled by cemetery-NO DIGGING by you..

Will put the vault in the ground and put the lowering device that lowers the casket together as well. Once set up, will wait for the arrival of family and friends. Guide them where to park. During the service will take the funeral flags off the cars and wait for the service to end. Need to be compassionate and remember they are the face of the company and the staffing service. There is quite a bit of downtime during the service. This is when to take lunch. Pack your lunch and eat in the truck. You do get a 1/2 hr unpaid lunch, however, they take it during this downtime since their is quite a bit of downtime. When the service is over, You are to guide traffic from the gravesite to where the exit is (not on the main roads),will guide casket as it goes into the ground and lock the vault lid in place. Concrete shell vault is the only thing put in the ground. Cemetery does all digging and burying. When back to the warehouse, to clean their truck, vacuum if needed. Sometimes need to hang the large green grass carpet to hose it down as well as other duties in the warehouse as needed. Will work Monday-Saturday. Will have one day off a week along with Sun. Get 11 Sat's off a year and know schedule in advance. The hours are 7a-330p and possible to start at 6a depending on the day. $14/hour to start.

AFTER HIRED ON BY it is possible to move UP TO $16. DRESS- STWB a MUST, jeans, tshirt or sweatshirt, jacket - will be in and outside of warehouse. Outside during set up and service. . NO CREMATION is done on site nor will have to do anything with the casket.
