Caseload details for this School Occupational Therapist position:
•Full-Time, 32-40 hours per week
•K-12 caseload, general education as well as ASD, behavior and modified curriculum students
•Pay rate range is estimated at $30-39 per hour. Year round pay or school calendar pay
•Technology used: SpedTracker
•Materials library and annual spending allowance for supplies
•Supervise part-time COTA
•Schedule: Starting immediately and following 2020-2021 academic calendar
Occupational Therapist duties include:
•Participates in the child study, referral and IEP process.
•Provides assessment and information regarding a student's ability to participate in desired daily school activities.
•Help children fulfill their role as students by supporting academic goals and equipping children with tools for behaviors necessary for success in the learning environment.
•Provides a therapeutic program of instruction to meet individual needs of children.
•Collaborates with classroom teachers and other school personnel to implement strategies for instruction.
•Provides consultation to regular education, special education, support staff and parents regarding programming for children.
•Keeps thorough and ongoing records for identified students.
•Maintains appropriate records of referrals, screening and assessments.

Requirements: Qualified Occupational Therapist must have:
•Current or pending Missouri OT license.
•Minimum of 1 year of school OT experience in the last 3-5 years.
