Job Description

Job Summary: The Sales Analyst II will be a member of the Commercial Operations team and will help support the Parkinson’s Disease field sales organization. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Excel and experience in developing complex data analysis. This position will have a secondary responsibility to support PD Marketing Operations and Sales Training.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support management in conducting ad hoc analysis for the PD team using specialty HUB services, BI tools, CRM, and Excel
  • Work with Specialty/Syndicated data and perform targeting analysis based on deciles/account ranking as needed
  • Assist with developing territory alignments; maintain ongoing territory alignment adjustments using mapping software
  • Assist the training department by providing territory data and maps for new hires
  • Responsible for supporting the PD business unit in the timely delivery and data integrity of all scheduled sales reports generated by Sales Operations
  • Assist sales team with data and system questions as needed; perform territory/account research
  • Act as the internal point of contact for all marketing content management updates
  • Work in and deploy from a sandbox environment to test all changes to business logic

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • No direct supervisory responsibilities

Knowledge & Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; 2+ years of related work experience
  • Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Excellent Excel skills requires (pivots, macros, v/h lookups, etc)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with or a similar CRM system a plus
  • Experience with BI tools a plus
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information
  • Ability to recognize and adapt to change and ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to overcome challenges
  • Ability to effectively communicate the findings associated with data analysis or team member questions
  • Pharma/biotech experience preferred

  • Authorized to legally work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or carry objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; and extensive reading
  • The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
