Job Description

Summary:   This position will perform a broad range of administrative duties including but not limited to order/data entry, accounting, as well as support staff within Superior Stone Products, Inc.  

Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:

  • ·         Accounts payable; creating new purchase orders and coordinating outgoing payments.
  • ·         Accounts receivable; entering accurate sales orders, proofing and coordinating incoming payments.
  • ·         Answer and route phone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
  • ·         Handle and distribute incoming and outgoing mail daily.
  • ·         Organize and maintain filing system.
  • ·         Order and maintain office supplies.
  • ·         Assist all staff, as needed.
  • ·         Maintain postage meter.
  • ·         Track freight shipment.
  • ·         Data entry.
  • ·         Maintain clean work environment.
  • ·         Maintain a safe work area.
  • ·         Comply with Company’s Policies and Procedures.
  • ·         Work in accordance to the Company’s mission “to manufacture and sell the highest quality products for the stone                         industry, in a consistent, safe and professional manner”

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • ·         Proficient in SAP Business One.
  • ·         Must have at least three years of business-related experience.
  • ·         Must be detail oriented.
  • ·         Must have good phone skills.  
  • ·         Must be able to manage and prioritize diverse tasks and recognize when priorities change.
  • ·         Ability to work on multiple tasks, with changing deadlines, and priorities in an environment with frequent interruptions.
  • ·         Must show initiative, require minimal supervision, and be flexible with changing priorities.
  • ·         Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and flexibility are required.
  • ·         Must have excellent verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • ·         Proficient with PC environment, accounting software-SAP Business One, MS Office application suite (Word, Excel) MS              Outlook (e-mail, Calendar and Tasks), and the internet.
  • ·         Excellent organizational skills are required.
  • ·         Full understanding of basic office fundamentals and business equipment such as fax, copiers, etc. is required.
  • ·         Ability to anticipate needs in recurring situations. Must possess a desire to learn while working and ability to interact                     professionally with all levels of staff.
  • ·         The ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information is essential.

Schedule and Status:    Full-time, Hourly, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Reports to:      Operations Manager
