Reset Coordinator Supervisor

The Reset Coordinator Supervisor manages the reset team, while adding insight and direction to the overall reset process.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Understand the category, channel and shopper through the use of available data sources including: Internal MillerCoors data, Syndicated Data, Homescan, Spectra, Loyalty Data, Retailer Data, FeatureVision, and other Market Research.
  • Familiar with the retailers strategy, business needs, and goals
  • Incorporation of the supplier and partner business initiatives, objectives and channel strategies
  • Input consumer/shopper insights and behavior into analysis
  • Synthesize all insights into selling story, category and business reviews
  • Work collaboratively with account team(s) on sales call approach and plans
  • Implement category management standards provided by suppliers
  • Coaches chain team on data access and application
  • Delivers Category Management presentations to retailers and distributors to build partnerships and grow category
  • Presents Space Management information in order to sell in space and assortment strategy
  • Develops customer category plans collaboratively with the retailer and distributors
  • Implements agreed solutions; track, measure and communicate results
  • Works with sales team and retailer to create integrated scorecard(s)
  • Working knowledge of retailer database management, maintenance, analysis and reporting
  • Posts program results through analysis
  • Deep understanding of the Space and Assortment strategy
  • Utilizes space and assortment tools to optimize retailers category and meet suppliers goals
  • Takes ownership of the Retail Reset process through project management and planogram creation/validation as needed
  • Train and effectively manage Reset Team members


  • Bachelors’ degree preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years data analysis / category management experience within a consumer goods company preferred
  • Sales and planning experience beneficial
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office tools). Proficiency in Access and expert in Excel highly desired
  • Proven ability to use data and analytics to develop insights
  • Use of consumption databases i.e. ACNielsen, IRI also familiar with consumer panel data and shopper data i.e. Homescan, dunnhumby and Spectra
  • Solid understanding of chain sales, retail and distributor operations
  • Understands tools and techniques to merchandise and market at retail
  • Knowledge and skilled in preparing for and participating in the selling process
  • Strong knowledge of category management processes and application, and understands impact to the business
  • Understanding of in-store execution practices
