Maintenance Technician CNC Machine Repair Experience

Job Function:

We seek an experienced industrial maintenance technician with an understanding of CNC machines and electronic repair experience.  This experience and knowledge will allow the right candidate to perform a variety of routine electronic, PLC, mechanical, and electrical repairs and overall industrial maintenance in support of all departments. Responsible for the general care and orderliness of the property and oversight of performing highly fostered duties, including preventative maintenance of existing CNC / ECM equipment and repair of machine tools and processes to meet the goals of adding value to the department and company.

Duties include:

• Troubleshoot and perform routine preventative maintenance to sustain machine electronic and PLC performance of all new and used equipment.

• Install and maintain CNC and manual machines.

• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC repairs—preferred knowledge of Mazak, Haas, Siemens, FANUC, and Okuma controls.

• Operate hand tools, standard machine shop equipment, fork, and company trucks.

• Deliver and pick up items for Maintenance Department.

• Maintain an accurate daily log of all repairs performed and other required information.

• Perform a variety of facility maintenance functions.

• Read and interpret blueprints and machining manuals for necessary repairs and equipment maintenance.

• Complete tasks by using sound judgment and with minimal supervision.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and policies by the company and OSHA standards.

• Create new and innovative approaches to workflows.

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks to provide a safe, clean, and orderly workplace.

• Work collaboratively with the team and partner with employees at all levels.

• Maintain the highest level of integrity in representing your department and the company overall.
