Job Summary

The Canvass Team Lead will oversee and lead the activities of a team of Outside Marketing Employees to generate sales leads through door to door canvassing, scheduling appointments with qualified homeowners interested in Sunternal''s solar systems products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

? Generates quality appointments while engaging in door to door canvassing, including producing 20 or more

leads per week, 4 confirms per week, and at least 1 sale per week.

? Hires, trains, and motivates team of Outside Marketing Employees.

? Assigns canvassing routes and sets leads goals for Outside Marketing Employees. Ensures staffing needs

are adequate to cover Company goals.

? Manages Outside Marketing Employees'' performance, including meeting with employees, providing

performance reviews, counseling, disciplinary action up to and including termination, and ongoing training and

development opportunities.

? Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports, including team performance; uses data to

project marketing efforts, determine leads targets, and identify potential new opportunities. Provides reporting

to executive leadership as necessary and required.

? Collaborates with executive leadership to develop outside marketing strategies. Proactively raises issues and

offers solutions to canvassing hurdles.

? Remains knowledgeable of industry trends and Company products, and educates Outside Marketing

Employees and Customers about the benefits of solar.

? Accurately maintains records on homeowner prospect''s information.

? Operates and advocates Sunternal''s Core Values, decisions, and policies.

? Performs other duties as assigned.

competing deadlines, including prioritizing multiple tasks.

? Analytical ability with attention to detail.

? Ability to remain positive and flexible with Company changes. Solicit and encourage team''s cooperation

with Company changes.

? Willingness to be mentored and mentor others.

? In-depth understanding of Sunternal services and its position in the industry.

? Always willing and able to represent Sunternal with the utmost degree of professionalism and expertise.

? Availability to work early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed to meet lead generation goals.

Required Education and Experience:

? Must be authorized to work in the United States.

? Must be at least 18 years old.

? Must possess a valid driver''s license and clean DMV driving record.

? High school diploma or equivalent required.

? Knowledge of the solar industry is preferred; experience in a high tech, construction, or renewable energy

company preferred.

? Prior sales experience highly preferred.

? Prior supervisory experience highly preferred.

? Basic computer skills required, including ability to type at least 30 wpm.

? Proficiency in Microsoft Team including Excel, and Word.

? Ability to speak Spanish is highly preferred.

Physical Job Requirements

? Frequent standing and walking, approximately 4-6 hours per day; must have ability to climb stairs and/or

walk up steep driveways to meet with homeowners, up to 50 times per day.

? Regularly sitting at a desk and working on a computer to input data, run reports, etc.

? Frequently listening to and speaking with prospects and employees.

? Frequently driving a vehicle, approximately 1-3 hours per day.

? Occasionally carrying up to 10 pounds of work material. Occasionally lifting up to 35 pounds.

? Occasionally exposed to homeowners'' domestic animals.
