AUTOCAD TECHNICIAN

Suntec Concrete Inc. is the largest commercial concrete construction company in the Southwest. Suntec performs all aspects of commercial concrete construction, specializing in structural, tilt panel, flatwork and foundation construction. Primary Job Duties:

• Review and analyze architectural and structural plans to prepare concrete profile plans
• Assist in creating site plans which include crane plans, concrete pumping plans, logistics, and scheduling plans
• Attend project start up meetings for project requirements and project scheduling
• Project site visits for training and forming systems review

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in CAD/Drafting Technology OR 2+ years of construction experience
• Revit and/or Bluebeam Revu Experience – Preferred but not mandatory
• Navisworks is a plus but not required
• Attention to detail and precision for projects requirements
• COMPUTER SKILLS including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
• Excellent time management skills to detail and coordinate multiple projects
• Good math skills, visualization, and presentation techniques to convert structural drawings into concrete profile plans
• Able to diagnose drawing conflicts and errors
