School Transportation Driver *Up to $24/ HR

ECS is actively hiring school bus drivers for their Wilton location. We are looking for safe,
friendly drivers to help transport our Special Ed Students to and from school. Experience is not
needed for this position; our elite team of trainers will teach and train you to be a license and
certified School Bus Driver. Come join the team of exceptional and committed drivers who are

*Up to $24/hour (includes hourly rate, incentives, and sign on bonus) *

Job Responsibilities:
 Must be able to and from pickup locations/schools using a route sheet and GPS unit
 Must be able to communicate effectively with students, staff and parents throughout the
duration of their trip
 Perform pre-trip/maintenance according to the state of Connecticut General Standards
 Complete DVIR manual daily and report any defects
Qualifications:
 21 years old to drive a large bus and ability to secure a CDL with school bus permit
 A valid driver’s license for 3 continuous years and in good standing
 Excellent customer and communication skills
 High school diploma or GED preferred
Requirements:
 A copy of your most recent r-360/training history from your previous employer (if
applicable)
 Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and able to pass random
drug screens throughout employment
 Must be able to train and pass a company road evaluation
 Must learn and be proficient at using a lift the necessary equipment needed to transport a
wheelchair
