Job Description

Our client, a leading medical devices company is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. This is for an initial duration of 12 months and is located in Tempe, AZ.

 

Summary:

·         The Purchasing Coordinator performs purchase order (PO) processing and coordination activities for products and services supporting the Tempe site.

 
Basic qualifications:

·         Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

·         Approachable and professional

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Continuously seeking to improve ways of doing things

·         Demonstrated ability to collaborate, establish and maintain effective working relationships across all parts of the business

·         Able to work independently with minimal supervision

 
Education and experience:

·         Bachelors degree preferred.

·         5+ years of purchasing experience.

·         Demonstrated knowledge of current purchasing practices.

·         ERP systems experience a plus, JDE preferred

·         Excel (including formulas), Office, Email
