The unique responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the essential functions listed below:

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS Responsibilities:
  • Perform fieldwork in accordance with the approved audit program, including identification and testing of internal controls and analytical review
  • Performing audit testing procedures and preparing audit working papers
  • Identifying, developing and documenting audit observations and recommendations for improvement
  • Analyzing large volumes of data using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power Query and Power BI
  • Drafting internal audit reports and key deliverables
  • Performing related work as assigned by Internal Audit management

 

Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, or Business related field.
  • Must have at least one auditing course completed
  • Understanding of Internal controls, SOX, COSO, SOC1
  • Proficient in the usage and application of data manipulation functions in Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, IF, OR, AND, SUMIF, SUBTOTAL, SUBSTITUTE, CONCATENATE, SUBSTRING, FIND, LEFT, MID, RIGHT, CLEAN, TRIM, etc.) in addition to Sort, Filter, Conditional Formatting, Freeze Panes, and Pivot Tables
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) and Adobe (apply stamps and textboxes, organize pages, etc.)
  • Strong ability to quickly and concisely research and collect data from unique places and apply appropriate results to assigned projects.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Internal Audit concentration/work experience (preferred)
  • CPA designation or active candidate (preferred)
