This animal care position is flexible and can be either full-time or part-time. The pay is competitive at $20 - $30 an hour, depending on experience. We are about 30 minutes East of Portland in a pristine location that is exploding and expanding exponentially. Our hospital was purchased by our current owner in 2015 but we have been seeing loyal clients and their pets for over 45 years. WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE A CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN AT SUNNYSIDE VETERINARY HOSPITAL

As a Certified Veterinary Technician at Sunnyside Veterinary Hospital, you play a crucial role in the surgical process, from pre-op to post-op. Working closely with our veterinarians, you help ensure that surgeries go smoothly, assist during procedures, and monitor patients during recovery to ensure their comfort and safety. In addition, you monitor and control drug dispensing to our patients and oversee the care of our hospitalized furry friends. You are passionate about animal care and love helping our clients' beloved pets regain their health!

WHAT MATTERS MOST IN A CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

To be successful in this full- or part-time animal care position, you should have excellent communication skills, be able to multi-task effectively, and possess a high level of attention to detail. Additionally, we're seeking someone who works well as part of a team and possesses a positive attitude. We also need someone with the following qualification:

• Licensed in the state of Oregon as a veterinary technician

YOUR HOURS AS A CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

This animal care position can be either full- or part-time and enjoys a flexible schedule working weekdays, 8 am - 5 pm, or Saturdays, 9 am - 2 pm.
