Location: Puerto Rico

The Dealer Development Advisor Position

Sunnova Energy is searching for a Dealer Development Advisor to be a primary point of

contact for Strategic Dealers Account to troubleshoot issues in the sales and operations

process. This position’s success will support the Company’s accelerated growth plans

into the future, taking advantage of the explosive growth in renewable energy. Reporting

to the General Manager PR, the Dealer Development Advisor role includes project

management, documentation flow, and metric reporting throughout the Commercial

Operations Team and provided to the Executive Leadership Team.

Dealer Development Advisor Responsibilities

  • Provides Dealer support and Strategic Account Management support from Contract Stage thru Final Stage to ensure adoption of Sunnova workflow and best practices.
    1. Demonstrates expert knowledge of Sunnova’s Channel Partner Agreement (CPA) with Dealers through being a primary point of contact.
    2. Maintains effective communications with team members across the company acting as a point of contact between Dealers and Sunnova.
    3. Educates the Dealer team members to become “subject matter experts” (SME’s) on “Sunnova Docs Portal” and workflow requirements.
    4. Support and educate Dealer in the day-to-day quoting and sales process, including troubleshooting and problems resolutions.
    5. Collaborate with the assigned Account Manager and different departments within the organization to facilitate and address Dealers' needs
    6. Collaborate with the assigned Account Manager in assisting with the onboarding and training process of new Sales Representatives and team members
    7. Maintains complete understanding of Sunnova’s start- to-end process & milestones, from lead creation to In-Service
    8. Facilitates a positive customer experience by training and requiring Dealers to have regular, transparent communication with Sunnova customers regarding installation status.
    9. Ensure Dealers are following our contract underwriting process and operational standards and keep them inform about any change in policy.
    10. Provided support to prevent cancellations by ensuring milestones are completed in a timely manner enforcing Sunnova’s standard and policy.
    11. Develops and maintains positive and professional relationships with all Dealer employees
    12. Reviews Dealer operational workflow trends to hold Dealers accountable.
    13. Completes any other necessary duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-3+ years’ experience in a project management support role or similar experience
  • Strong computer skills: including Microsoft Office Suite, including 2+ years of routine use of Excel for analysis, and graphically communicating insights regarding data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, or another related field
  • Previous experience in the residential solar industry

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work on multiple aspects of the process concurrently and work with little direct supervision
  • Proficient using Smartsheet, Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to manage project details
  • Ability to work under pressure while managing, organizing, and prioritizing multiple deliverables
  • Ethical team player; always maintains the highest degree of integrity
  • Ability to adapt and work in an open, fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Highly positive energy with a “can-do” personality

Working Conditions

  • Open-office environment with ability to work remotely as required
  • Willingness to work outside of regular hours as required to address business needs of strategic partners

Physical Requirements

  • Extended periods of time working at computer workstation
