Web Software Developer

Sunland Group has openings for a Web Software Developer to join our team at Houston, Texas. Our software developers produce or modify computer programs of all sizes and complexity. If you have a passion for developing software that solves complex problems, we want to hear from you.

Competencies include but are not limited to the following:

1. Core Skills

• .NET 4.5 using C# (4.0 min)
• ASP.Net 4.5
• Troubleshooting/debugging skills
• Experience with web services (ASMX)
• .NET web development
• SQL: Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Queries, Jobs
• SQL: Backup / Restore
• N-Tier Architecture
• Team Foundation Server
• IIS Management
• Visual Studio 2015/2019

2. Preferred:

• PowerShell scripting
• Batch file scripting
• Dev Ops (build & release automation)
• Client-Side frameworks (Angular, jQuery)
• ASP.Net Core

3. Qualifications:

• 4+- years of experience for Administrative Services Application (ASA) team
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization.
• Strong research and analytical skills and experience.
• Detail Oriented with strong organizational/analytical skills to manage multiple projects and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter who can work independently or within a team.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but extensive industry experience is an acceptable alternative.
• Ability to learn on-the-fly, whether by independent research, proof of concept development, or working together as a team.
• Passion for creating and implementing information technology solutions for business problems.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without current or future need for a visa sponsorship.
