Project Architect

We are actively seeking a Project Architect for our North Tampa office. The position requires attention to detail and the experience and ability to work across a diverse portfolio of project types including Multifamily, Condominiums, Hospitality, Retail and General Commercial. The Project Architect should be comfortable working from Schematic Design through Construction Administration and be able to oversee a team of 1-3 other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in Design and modeling in early project phases

• Responsible for the production and/or oversight of drawing documents from Schematic Design through Construction Documents as well as Construction Administration

• Ability to review, research and apply building/zoning codes and applicable technical requirements of the owner provided program and industry best practices.

• Will be involved in client and consultant meetings, produce, and log meeting minutes and implement changes to documents required.

• Ability to review and coordinate with all building system and specialty engineers and consultants throughout the project.

• Provide periodic updates to Principal ensuring deadlines are met.

• Work within company standards and work to create greater efficiencies and strategies within the company.

• Reviewing sets to ensure quality products are being delivered

• Produce in-house renderings, graphics and presentations for proposals and exhibits.

Desired Skills/ Experience:

• Min 5-10 years’ experience

• A degree in Architecture from an accredited university

• Licensure preferred

• Strong organizational and time management with the ability to work on

multiple projects at the same time.

• Strong team building skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD/ Autodesk Architecture, Revit, Microsoft Office, Photoshop.

• Lumion skills are a plus but not required.
