Electrician for Solar

We are currently seeking an Electrician to install solar systems! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.

Responsibilities:

• Installation of electrical equipment and solar related equipment
• Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems and be able to bend conduit 1/2 - 1 inch
• Perform troubleshooting on electrical wiring and systems for solar
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes·and be able to identify code related problems
• Measure and layout equipment locations·
• Safely work with AC voltages up to 480v·
• Safely work with DC voltages up to 600v·
• Fill out job paperwork documenting materials used and as built drawings·
• Install and commission internet based performance monitoring·
• Travel out of town when necessary

​​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electrical industry or other related fields·
• Previous Solar Experience Preferred
• Experience bending metallic conduit with hand benders
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
• Able to perform basic computer networking tasks for performance monitoring setup
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills·
• Possess and maintain a good driving record and valid driver’s license

Preferred Assets (Not Required)

· OSHA 10 hour certification

· OSHA 30 hour certification

· NABCEP Certificate of Knowledge

· NABCEP installer certification
