Our client, a recognized world leader in the World of gas turbines, has an immediate opening for a gas turbines aftermarket sales person. The job comprises repairs, rerates, service, parts and LTSA.
Responsible for penetrating and growing sales of airfoils and combustion system components—principally for Aeroderivative gas turbines in the US. Position requires significant front-line sales efforts and development and maintenance of customer relationships. The position will work cooperatively with company’s sales force personnel to optimize results. Reports to: Director, Sales
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Meet monthly, quarterly and annual volume and as-sold margin objectives in sales of designed and manufactured OEM-compatible products for industrial gas turbines while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Develop, market and sell long-term service, maintenance and parts agreements to commercial customers across U.S.
Establish and grow relationships with key customer personnel.
Represent the company at industry meetings, trade shows and conferences.
Negotiate key contracts in cooperation with the company’s contracts and legal personnel.
Gather and analyze market feedback and intelligence and participate in development of the company’s commercial strategy and tactics.
Direct maintenance of CRM database relating to assigned products and customers.
Provide input to engineering on desirable and required product features and forecast volumes to manufacturing.
Coordination of other product lines within the company’s business units.
BS in business, engineering or related field and minimum five (5) years of applicable experience in the gas turbine industry or related manufacturing/repair environment.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with gas turbine aftermarket is highly desired.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in design, service, repair or manufacturing of industrial gas turbines and components, including familiarity with Aeroderivative.
A minimum of 5 years in a lead position in sales force in gas turbine aftermarket.
Candidate must be a high-energy self-starter who has a proven track record of meeting company goals and objectives.
Strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
Up to 50% travel is required, including international travel.
