The IT Support Specialist is responsible for the following:

  • Manage computer software/hardware inventory including maintenance, upgrades, and replacement when necessary.
  • Maintain printers, phone systems, computers, networks, radio/communication
  • Provide support for on-boarding and off-boarding new and departing employees
  • Administer all user and group system setup, new users accounts, changes to user accounts and termination of accounts when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user incidents, analyze, and document root cause
  • Identify gaps and deliver computer support and training for internal staff related to cybersecurity awareness and defense.
  • Propose, create, and maintain forms, tools, documentation, and resources that add value to internal operations and quality control.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with multiple outsourced IT support vendors, including but not limited to operations software, GPS, Cameras and Security, Website, Domain/Firewall, etc.
  • Identify new processes, techniques, and procedures to upgrade and enhance services and user support
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

· 3+ years of experience in an IT support environment

· Active Directory experience/knowledge

· Thorough understanding of Windows operating systems

· Working knowledge of Office365 and related apps, including Teams, Sharepoint

· Availability for non-standard hours (down-time/emergencies)
