Mortgage Loan Conventional Underwriter

WE ARE HIRING REMOTE CONVENTIONAL LOAN UNDERWRITERS!!

We are eagerly looking for a dynamic Underwriter that will work directly with our team of underwriters to prioritize, review, and clear conditions to ensure the quality and salability of the loans.

This includes moving files through the process from approval to funding while
maintaining excellent customer service.

Our ideal candidate should be out-going, hardworking, and maintain a high level of professionalism and ethics.

Key Responsibilities

Review loan conditions as set forth by the original underwriter, including but not limited to the credit report, income calculation, asset, title report, and appraisal report.

Generate additional conditions as necessary.

Clear conditions on loans with attention to detail as well as with a sense of urgency while maintaining quality and production standards as set forth by management.

Effectively communicate orally and/or via email on all updated files professionally and positively to maintain a strong working relationship with internal staff and customers

• Maintain consistent communication with customers and sales staff to ensure all questions are answered promptly while demonstrating an outstanding level of customer service skills.
  
  Professional Experience, Education, and Qualifications:
  3 years experience as a Sr. Processor or 2 years as a Jr. Underwriter role.
  Knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC guidelines.
  Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality.

Strong attention to detail, organization and communication skills.
High energy and self-motivated.
