Help Desk Network Engineer in the Southeast United States. The right candidate will support end-users through a ticket and phone system along with calls to customers to follow-up. In addition, the candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills and enjoy interfacing with end-users.
The right candidate must have experience with the skills listed below:
Adapt and be willing to learn new technology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent troubleshooting skills
2 to 5 years’ experience in a help desk environment
Must have good organizational skills
Must have the ability to multi-task
Required technical skills:
Proficient at Windows 7, 8 , 8.1 ,10
Working knowledge of Mac OS X
Some knowledge of 2008, 2012, 2016 Windows Server
Proficient at understanding RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol)
Some knowledge of Active Directory
Microsoft Office 9x +2000 (eg: Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of various printers and installation
Network troubleshooting and documentation skills
Ability to work an on-call basis
Please Note: A written test will be given to test the level of knowledge and to test the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. The salary will be based on a candidate's level of experience.
