Plastic Extrusion Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Sumitomo Electric Interconnect Products (SEIP) is immediately hiring for a Plastic Extrusion Operator for our San Marcos, CA location.

SEIP's main product is Heat Shrink Tubing, comprised of a four-step process: extrusion-irradiation-expansion-cutting/coiling/spooling.

Position Summary: The Extrusion Operator is responsible for the set up and safe operation of the extrusion equipment in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements for the purpose of processing resin pellets to heat shrink tubing in an efficient and safe manner.

Pay Range: $20.00-$27.00/hr. Based on Experience

Duties:

•Set up and operate plastic extrusion lines

•Clean and maintain extrusion and conversion machines, using hand tools

•Assist in packaging and manufacturing support

•Assist in production set up

•Move controls to activate and adjust extrusion machines

Requirements:

•Basic knowledge of plastics and extrusion machine

•Use of basic tools

•Familiarity with extrusion equipment and other machinery (18 months)

•Understanding of ISO requirements (Preferred)

Schedule:

•Monday-Friday

•2nd Shift 3:00PM-11:00PM

•Overtime

•Bi-Weekly pay
