Job Description Customer Service Representative– Call Center for Telecommunications Service Provider Location: Toledo, OH. Near the University of Toledo’s main campus Part-time Position: up to 32 hours per week, through temp service Must be able to complete training from Tuesday - Friday from 10am-4pm for 2 weeks Must be able to work any shift from 8am to Midnight including weekend and holidays. Starting Pay: $11 per hour Primary Responsibilities: Provide information to current and prospective customers related to product features, service offerings, billing, charges, and product value Provide total customer service by asking questions and listening to customers in order to understand their needs, requests, or problems Provide outstanding customer service, troubleshoot and resolve minor technical problems for subscribers by asking appropriate questions and following troubleshooting steps Troubleshoot the root cause of customer problems and identify the action required to resolve issues experienced by subscribers and schedule service appointments when necessary Continuously develop your knowledge of company products/services, procedures and troubleshooting protocols. Build customer loyalty by placing quality assurance (QA) calls to customers. Qualifications/Experience: High School diploma, GED, or relevant work experience Effective communication skills, desire to interact with customers Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to effectively communicate Excellent computer skills Ability to multi-task Ability to establish collaborative customer relationships in a fast-paced environment Eligibility to work in the United States Hardworking and punctual with a desire to learn A Plus, but not a Requirement: Experience in telecommunications industry is a plus but not required Familiarity with cable TV and Internet services Experience with the telecommunications industry One or more years in a call center environment Bilingual - Spanish Prior to starting in this role, training will be provided on our products/services, procedures and tools used to perform the job. On an ongoing basis you will receive one on one coaching and training to continuously develop your skill and knowledge.
