Conduct conservation educational activities at the NAS Blackpoint Nature Center, 30%; Maintain native plant/buttery garden exhibit, 10%; assist with habitat improvement and invasive species control projects, 30%; participate in training and oce work, 10%; assist with miscellaneous projects, including wildlife surveys, urban forestry, and technical grounds assistance, 20%.Applicants must be comfortable handling and feeding snakes.
+ Location Description
NAS Jacksonville is a master air base located 13 miles from downtown Jacksonville. Located on the St. John's River the Main Station is over 3,000 acres.
+ Training Provided
Training is available on an "as needed" basis. Every opportunity to enhance members certifications/education will be taken.
+ Educational/Recreational Opportunities
Conferences, symposiums, training, etc will be offered when there is availability.
