Strongbridge has an exciting opportunity for a talented, experienced QA Specialist with a passion for innovation to support our team. Ideal candidates should be self-starters who value their work and the contributions of their team members! Candidates must be clearable for a public trust and a US Citizen who has lived in the US for the past 3 years consecutively.


  • Develops and implements quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in a large computer-based organization
  • Develops and defines major and minor characteristics of quality including quality metrics and scoring parameters and determines requisite quality control resources
  • Analyzes business and functional documents, identifying and defining project scope, with understanding of technical specifications and setup test environment
  • Sets clear goals and expectations, manages multiple priorities, facilitates the collection of technical, operational and business requirements, sets milestones and follows through to successful completion
  • Prepares effort estimation and lead all aspects of testing
  • Develops regression test plans and traceability matrices
  • Plans and executes 508 Compliance tests for system applications and user documentation
  • Establishes and maintains a process for evaluating software, and associated documentation and/or assists in the evaluation
  • Conducts and/or participates in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle


  • Bachelor's degree or 10 years' work experience
  • 8+ years of QA experience
  • Experience conducting system acceptance testing. test case, specification and Traceability Matrix (RTM) documentation
  • Experience with load, unit and functional testing and performing production verification checks
  • SDLC or PDLC and Defect Life Cycle


  • Certified Software Tester or equivalent

Pay Range: $79,000 - $100,000

The posted pay range reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
