Description
The Senior Manager, Solutions Delivery, is a key member of the Enterprise Platforms Group reporting to the Director of Enterprise Platforms within the Information Technology department. The Enterprise Platforms Group is a high-performing and agile multi-disciplinary team with a proven record of delivering impactful business solutions in the areas of virtualized desktop computing; custom web and mobile application development; and complex data modeling, transformation, and analytics. This role will continually gain a thorough understanding of our users’ needs and workflows, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to assist in developing an enterprise applications solutions roadmap.

With technical expertise and hands-on involvement, the Senior Manager, Solutions Delivery, will lead the implementation of business applications and influence the design of features that improve the adoption and usability of our applications and systems. This role plays a critical part interacting with firm leadership across practices, departments, and offices, as well as external clients, and will champion technology initiatives while interacting closely with users. This role is accountable for working with both business stake holders and other technical resources in a consultative fashion to understand and define the scope of business requirements, create a software architecture/design, and validate the technical requirements for enterprise applications projects, including vendor supported software, custom applications, and other users services.

The Senior Manager will have oversight responsibilities when leading project teams across multiple resources in the IT organization to ensure that the design, architecture, and implementation is successful. Assuring that every part of the experience is appropriately supported is also a critical responsibility. Responsibilities

• Work directly with technology management, software engineers, and other areas on highly visible technology projects to achieve our strategic IT initiatives.
• Perform multiple full project life-cycle planning and executions including: business requirements gathering, proposals/SOW, team management and coordination of solution deployments, lead cross team design and planning sessions, QA/UAT testing, training, project documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Lead and drive continuous improvement opportunities in end user experience.
• Maintain awareness of changing IT trends and regulations which might impact the business and develop strategies that will mitigate any incoming risks and/or take advantage of any future benefits.
• Assess upcoming technologies and recommend innovative use of new features and technologies with the objective of enhancing end user experience.

Qualifications

• Degreed in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years blended experience in hands-on application engineering, database design and architecture, business analysis, and product management.
• Proven hands-on experience coding in various programming languages such as SQL, PowerShell, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, a plus.
• High-level analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to analyze complex information structures involving multiple layers of data and workflows.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; proficiency in adapting communication language and style to varied audiences.
• Experience and skill in scheduling and performing multiple tasks and projects and meeting critical deadlines in a high pressure work environment.
• Willing to take direction and bring new and innovative ideas to the team.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, independent and eager to learn new technologies.
