Agriculture Service Technician

Stoller International is looking for strong team players to join our company and help us grow to meet growing customer demand. We have five locations throughout north-central Illinois and can accommodate multiple new technician hires. If you are even considering a career change and have experience as a technician in any machinery field we would like to talk to you. We are willing to train the right candidate for agriculture equipment.

Salary is based on experience and hours worked. 

Agriculture Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair and servicing Case-IH equipment
• Inspections and preventative services (fluids, lubricants, safety items, batteries, brakes, steering components, generators, starters, water, and fuel pumps, etc.)
• Perform engine and fuel system diagnostics and repairs, replacing items as necessary
• Perform hydraulic and electrical system troubleshooting and repair
• Prepares proper documentation of repair work and time management for billing purposes
• Practice and enforce company safety policies at all times in support of the company-wide accident prevention program
• General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments, diagnostic software, cranes and rigging equipment.

Agriculture Service Technician Requirements:

• Work experience or diesel technology degree/certificate
• Must be able to use Microsoft office
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving history
• Ideal agriculture service technician candidates will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized and personable with a strong work record, good communication skills, and a passion for working with people.
