We are the WOW flavor behind some of your favorite meal experiences. We are the partner to some of the most well-known names in food, food service and retail. You will find our products on fast-casual menus, frozen meals, retail deli, meal kits and RTE bagged salads.

We co-create and supply our partners with hot-cooked products including sauces, cheese sauces, soups, chilis and marinades. Our cold-processed products include dressings, sauces, spreads and batters. And we have a world-class facility dedicated to producing fresh salsas.
We are a fast-growing food organization with 4 production facilities in So Cal and will be expanding to the East Coast.

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a passionate QA Technical Specialist that will provide technical information to internal and external partners pertaining to nutritional information, operational labeling, and raw material documentation. In this role, you will work closely with R&D, customer service, and sales and operations in meeting company goals.

Responsibilities:

· Generate nutritional information including nutritional facts panel, ingredient, and allergen statements

· Generate finished product specifications including nutritional information, packaging format, and other pertinent information which is provided to our customers

· Assist Research & Development on providing nutritional information for all new product variables created

· Ensure that all revisions/updates to technical specification and nutritional information are provided to all end users

· Create daily case labels to Operations to allow proper coding and labeling throughout the process

· Provide technical information and direction to Customer Service when questions are asked about Pacifica’s line of products

· Maintain accurate and complete nutritional database in Genesis R&D software

· Review and approve supplier and item level documentation in TraceGains

· Provide guidance in NON-GMO, Organic, Kosher and raw materials requirements to our customers’ needs

· Provide information pertaining to all regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Education:

· Proficient in verbal and written English skills

· Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

· Previous food manufacturing experience is desired

· A minimum of 2 years QA or R&D experience

· Working knowledge of Genesis R&D Food Formulation & Labeling Software

· Strong organizational skills and ability to research and understand 21 CFR regulations
