Job Summary

This position will oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing value stream in the Steel fabrication, Aluminum fabrication, Paint Line and Final Assembly areas. Position is responsible for increasing productivity with innovative methods, reducing manufacturing costs and motivating staff to excel in performance meeting stated daily, weekly, and monthly goals. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and establish work scheduled, assignments and production sequences to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
  • Collaborate with other Value Stream Supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders and company policies and procedures for workers.
  • Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures or assign employee training to experienced works.
  • Confer with management and/or subordinates to resolve worker problems or complaints.
  • Determine standards, budgets, production goals, and rates based on company policies, equipment and labor availability.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing metrics including but not limited to On-Time Delivery, Efficiency, and Quality.
  • Recommend and execute personnel actions, such as hirings, evaluations and/or promotions. 



  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Associate of Applied Science in Manufacturing, Electronics, Electrical, Engineering Technology or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of Supervisor Experience (5 years preferred) in a manufacturing facility.
  • 5+ years working in a production or manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with ERP system and proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

Experience in meeting and maintaining manufacturing metrics, i.e. Efficiency, quality, On Time Delivery, etc.

Coordination- Adjusting actions in relation to others’ actions.

Critical Thinking- Using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Judgement and Decision MakingConsidering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.

Complex Problem Solving- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

Administration and Management- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

Production and Processing- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.

 Mechanical- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.


Job Location

  • The location of this job is in our manufacturing plant in Clanton, Alabama.


Work Environment

 This position is in a non-climate -controlled manufacturing environment.
