Position Purpose:   The Contact center Customer Services Representative provides customer service for members, including completing all necessary paperwork, answering phones, and meeting monthly goals.  They answer phones promptly, in a professional tone, and appropriately respond to member inquiries or requests while maintaining performance measures.

  • Appropriately responds to member inquiries or requests in compliance with regulations
  • Meet performance measures set forth by Contact Center Management and follow established Steward Health Choice Generations benchmarks and policies
  • Complete necessary forms, follow-up paperwork, and duties necessary to meet or exceed the caller’s expectations
  • Document calls in note screen of medical management software system Care Radius

Education / Experience / Other Requirements


  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED

Years of Experience:  

  • At least one (1) year in call center environment preferred
  • At least one (1) year customer service preferred

Specialized Knowledge:  

  • Computer experience necessary
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office; Word, Excel
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Use of multi-line phone
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work tasks to adhere to deadlines and identified time frames
  • Ability to handle upset callers, fast paced high stress situations, and problem solve
