Job Title: Data Architect (Cloud)
Location: Remote (Chicago, IL 60606 pref)
Job Type: 1+ year contract

Data Architect (Cloud):
If you are a highly-motivated, passionate Data Architect who is excited about leveraging your skills and strategic ideas to improve mission execution, this role is for you.

You should have at least 6+ years of hands-on experience with cloud data engineering, and the ability to broaden your skillset into areas like automation, scripting, and containerization while developing critical systems for several of our internal clients.

Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, a related quantitative field
· 6+ years of experience within the field of data engineering or related technical work including business intelligence, analytics
· 4+ years of experience in architecture for commercial scale data pipelines
· 4+ years of experience with business intelligence tools (tableau, ThoughSpot, PowerBI, Locker, etc.)
· 4+ years of experience with AWS or other cloud provider
· 4+ years of experience with large-scale enterprise applications such as Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Hbase, etc.
· 4+ years of experience with

Specific Requirements:
· Comfortable solving problems in an ambiguous environment where there is constant change
· Design and build scalable and robust data pipelines to enable data-driven decisions
· Ability to manage multiple projects and report simultaneously across different stakeholders
· Requirements gathering with business stakeholders
· Ability to write requirements for ETL and BI developers
· Ability to write designs for data architecture of data warehouse or data lake solutions or end to end pipelines
· Expert in data architecture principles, distributed computing knowhow
· Design for comprehensive data quality management tooling.
