Job DescriptionAdministration Specialist1st ShiftNew Berlin, WIDirect HireTarget Pay: $60,000-$65,000/yearA successful candidate will be responsible for: Processing of department paperwork and correspondence including purchase orders, acknowledgments, and requests for quotes Analysis of material requirements per agreed upon schedule Review for appropriate action related to exception messages Work as the primary liaison between the supplier Negotiate part cost and contracts with suppliers Assisting the non-conforming material process for assigned commodities Development of department analyses and maintenance of data upon request Alert management of issues that could adversely affect the company Analyze demand, inventory and supply for assigned product families Work with sales and marketing and operations to analyze and propose and maintain target lead times Manage the monthly sales and operations planning process, participating in the demand review, directing... the supply review and subsequent demand/supply reconciliation in line with approved planning parameters Conduct rough-cut capacity analysis with proposed demand volume; make capacity adjustments to management Maintain the ES&OP approved demand forecast in MRP system, effectively balancing material availability, capacity and demand Schedule equipment sales orders based upon current capacity and raw material lead times In collaboration with operations and engineering, establish make to stock, make to order, and configure to order strategy Maintain working relationship with operations, shop floor scheduling, buyers and sales personnel to affectively address master schedule questions Conferring with buyers and operations, maintain applicable planning parameters in the MRP and Master Production Schedule models to maximize flexibility while minimizing working capital Analyze inventory levels on a monthly basis to identify constraints or slow moving inventory; make planning adjustments Provide instruction to shop floor scheduling Participate in New Product Development discussions Oversee the assigned production area and give direction to meet established specifications for quality, functionality, and lead time to attain on-time delivery goals and efficiency Support metrics, expectations, and accountabilities of department Ensure all rules and practices are adhered to such as to ensure a safe manufacturing and operating environment Accurately maintain work schedule and Avante administration Schedule daily work activities to include: Completing pick list and turn in for accurate and timely inventory transactions Print job packets containing work orders and pick lists Assist Order Pickers with picking parts for jobs per the pick list and deliver to the appropriate work cell as needed Maintain a clean and overall safe facility, ensuring procedures are being followed as expected and training carried out for the protection of each employee and the company Assure compliance is consistent with OSHA, ISO, and other regulatory agencies Promotes a cohesive and positive team environment Other duties as assignedA qualified candidate will be pro-active, dedicated, and possess these basic requirements: Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain or related field, and/or equivalent business experience in a manufacturing environment Previous exposure to ERP systems is a plus This individual must be a self-starter with a keen interest in learning the entire purchasing task list ranging from the routine to the complex An understanding and desire to satisfy customers and improve processes is a required Experience with computer business applications is mandatory Understanding of MRP logic, scheduling and order policies, bill of material structure and multi-plant planning Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and influence members of other functional areas Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery with two to five year
