Junior Industrial Designer

Summary:

This is a full-time, direct-hire position with an innovative manufacturer of designer LED lighting fixtures made for residential and commercial markets. This role will support the Senior Product Designer in facilitating all phases of the design process for decorative light fixtures. Will also design on products trends, produce CAD drawings, tight concept drawings, and presentation renderings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design or Interior Design
  • 0-2 years of related work experience and/or relevant training
  • Must exhibit proficiency in both 2D CAD and 3D modeling – SolidWorks is highly desirable.
  • Ability to use Adobe Design Suite and Power Point
  • Some design knowledge of home products such lighting, wall décor, and decorative accessories.
