The Field Service Technician performs maintenance, repair, installation and calibration of precision inspection, testing & measurement equipment at customer sites in accordance to ISO/IEC 17025
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Install / Calibrate / Repair equipment at customer sites.
o Communicate with Inside Service Team for daily, weekly and monthly job assignments.
o Generate all documentation required for service calls.
o Maintain professional rapport with customers.
o Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
Service Technician will be capable of operating with minimal supervision and be capable of calibration, service, and basic repairs of all equipment in the ATI scope for the following:
o Hand Gages
Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, Bore Gages, Height Gages, Magna Mikes, etc
o Surface Plates
Measurement and Corrective Lapping
o Rockwell Hardness Testers
Standard B/C, Superficial N/T, Direct and Indirect Methods
o Brinell Hardness Testers
Brinell, Brinell Scope, Brinell Scanner, Direct / Indirect Method
o Leebs Hardness Tester
o Optical Equipment
Optical Comparator, Measuring Microscope, Microscope Cleaning
· Video / Vision Equipment
· Manual / Automation
· Field of View Measuring Systems
· Laser Micrometers
· Scales / Balances
Lab Balances, Bench Scales, Counting Scales, Floor Scales
Pressure Gage, Pressure Transducer, In Line Pressure Gage/Transducer
Oven, Temperature Controllers, Thermometers, IR, (All Types Calibrated in the Field)
o Force = 1,000 lbs
Test Stands, Force Gage, Load Cell, Spring Tester, Top Load Testers (Force, Displacement, & Speed)

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Technical Degree, Certificate and/or 3 year experience in a related field with a proven track record of successful, on-time completion of projects.
