A successful candidate will be responsible for working at our support desk and will provide technical support for clients, including occasional on-site service.
You should be motivated with a strong work ethic, passionate about technology, and have a solid understanding of modern business computing and networking technologies. In addition to working with our inhouse software platforms for service management and monitoring, you will be taking inbound calls, performing basic triage of the issues and assigning to the appropriate staff member or team. You may also be asked to perform basic troubleshooting and support to our client base. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be required.
Experience in any of the following areas will be useful:
-- Windows desktop operating systems knowledge (Windows 10/7/XP)
-- Apple macOS
-- Mobile operating systems such as Apple iOS and Android
-- Microsoft Office productivity apps familiarity (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
-- Cloud-based services (O365, Google)
-- Basic Wireless networking (Wi-Fi)
-- Network technologies such as TCP/IP and Ethernet
-- Degree in technical field or equivalent experience
