Position Summary

As Stealth Monitoring continues to grow we rely more on our talented and bright team members to own their work. Our Regional Operations Manager is no different.  Communicating cross-functionally with ease and managing our team of installation experts, our Regional Operations Manager is responsible for all things in the field. As we continue to grow, their organizational and management skills will be relied upon heavily to ensure our chaotic business is well organized.


Duties & Responsibilities

Operations/Fleet Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage field installations
  • Review installation requirements ensuring staff and equipment are able to meet needs
  • Manage the Company’s fleet by ensuring that any repairs, maintenance and/or required regulatory inspections or licensing is completed
  • Work closely with the Company’s internal IT resources, Monitoring Centre Manager and any third-party vendors in resolving hardware/software issues at clients’ sites

 

People Management

  • Hire, train, direct and supervise technicians across all locations in the Southern US
  • Coordination and prioritization of projects, customers
  • Select and manage the performance of subcontractors
  • Deliver training programs on STEALTH MONITORING’s processes, policies, products and service standards, Health and Safety, certification, etc.
  • Establish clear performance expectations for employees, conduct performance reviews and address disciplinary issues in an appropriate manner.
  • Engage employees in creating and supporting continuous improvement processes to optimize customer service.
  • Enforce a culture of safety by upholding STEALTH MONITORING’s various safety compliance initiatives and conducting occasional safety reviews

 

Quality Assurance/Customer Service      

  • Carry out site quality assurance inspections and assists with installs as required
  • Interact with customers to strategically and safely deal with any problems that may arise; effectively managing our fleet so as to guarantee minimal overtime work
  • Liaise cross-functionally to guarantee that all departmental and customer needs are met pertaining to the site solutions installed so as to minimize follow-up work.

 

Product Management/Design

  • Determine and review all equipment, tools and parts required to support timely and quality installations and maintains strict demand planning and inventory management using existing systems
  • Manage overall warehouse operations and transportation logistics to customer locations on a national basis

 

Internal Reporting

  • Participate in developing annual budget for field operations
  • Provide regular status/activity reports to management


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of experience relating to the above described duties

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to provide direction, guidance and performance feedback to reporting staff. Possesses strong time management and organizational skills
  • Takes a high level of initiative and is able to work effectively with minimum supervision.
  • Possesses effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Is a “team player” with strong interpersonal skills
  • Possesses a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office software suite
  • Experience in implementation and administration of company-wide change-driven programs
  • Above average analytical skills related to various maintenance activities.
  • Good oral and written communication skills to support and train staff on technical matters, document policies and procedures, liaise with clients etc.
