# Job Summary
Minnesota Housing is hiring! We're a mission-focused financial institution looking for a Business Systems and Process Support Specialist to be responsible for workflow management on the Business Systems and Process Support team. You will be responsible to ensure that work requested from internal customers is handled in an efficient manner with a focus on exceptional service and quality. You will be responsible to maintain working knowledge of and provide technical support for systems and applications used within the Single Family division.
*Essential Job Duties*
* Manage workflow for requests received on the team:assign requests, follow up to ensure completion, inspect process and performance standards, monitor reporting, identify communication and training needs, and identify opportunities for improvement. * Escalate and/or report workflow issues or concerns to the department Supervisor. * Provide collaborative leadership and support for internal and external customers to ensure work is handled with exceptional service, quality, and productivity and meets the needs of the Single Family business. * Develop, and manage written process, procedure, and system documentation for the department to ensure they are complete, accurate, and updated as needed.Partner with the training team(s) to ensure all training collateral are updated. * Provide technical support for various systems and applications that are used in the Single Family division. Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues to ensure systems and processes meet the needs of the business and lending partners. * Identify and recommend innovative solutions that will improve systems and processes. * Provide back-up support for client set-up and maintenance, document management, testing activities and web support responsibilities. * Participate in and/or lead projects and cross-functional meetings and complete other duties as needed and assigned.
## Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, housing, real estate, community development/plann or a related field and four years of Single Family homeownership lending experience. Or five years of Single Family homeownership lending experience. * Three years of experience directing the work of others. * 3 years of experience writing and maintaining business related process, procedure and systems documentation. * Intermediate to advanced experience in the Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Access. * Experience providing outstanding customer support for a variety of systems and/or processes. * Proven accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and comply with recurring, strict deadlines. * Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, decision making and creative solutions with the ability to comprehend and communicate complex information in plain language.
## Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional years of experience beyond the minimum qualifications in the housing finance industry, specifically related to Single Family Homeownership lending. * Experience working in mortgage lending systems. * Additional years of experience beyond the minimum qualifications directing the work of others. * Demonstrated project management experience.
## Physical Requirements
Requires occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as file folders, ledgers, and small tools. A certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
