Insurance Account Representative

As an Insurance Account Representative at Team Jelinek, State Farm – you will be responsible for growing the agency’s book of business with new households and multi-lining the existing book of business by conducting needs based interviews with customers and prospects. A successful Insurance Account Representative will enjoy a team atmosphere and have enthusiasm, courtesy and a passion for serving others. You will also help support the agency by answering incoming calls, waiting on customers, replying to underwriter inquiries and assisting with claims.

Responsibilities:

· Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

· Establish customer relationships and follow-up with customers, as needed.

· Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.

· Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.

· Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

Education & Experience:

· High school diploma or GED

· Nevada Property and Casualty License

· Nevada Life/Health License (or ability to obtain)

· Spanish speaking preferred

Physical Requirements: The ability to alternate between sitting and standing is present and employees have the flexibility to choose. Entering text or data into a traditional keyboard is required. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word to impart oral information to clients or the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately and articulately. The ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech in person and over the phone. Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less, including the use of computers.
