Job Summary

ProTech Security & Electronics seeking experienced people for several positions available in Modesto.

We install, maintain and monitor burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV and Access Systems. In addition, we also install voice/data cabling. A large portion of our work is commercial/government; but, we do a fair amount of residential. Our primary territory is Merced to Lodi; however, there is some occasional travel outside of the area. Our offices are located in Merced and Modesto. The current openings are located in Modesto.

Responsibilities:

• Installation of small and large scale burglar alarm systems Installation of commercial fire alarm systems to UL Standards
• Installation of large scale CCTV systems. Knowledge of IT/Network functions Installation of Access Control Systems, computer literacy, and basic programming skills are required
• Ability to act as a lead technician/foreman and supervise an apprentice or crew after apprenticeship
• Fire life safety is a major bonus and would greatly increase our offer.

Successful candidates will possess the following:

• A clean driving records
• Ability to pass a State required background check Drug-free
• At least three or more years of experience in the industry
• Experience with any of the following panel types: Honeywell, Fire-lite, Silent Knight, Notifier, Bosch, DSC, GE and EST

Experience:

• Installation: 2 years (preferred)

Travel Requirement:

• 25% (preferred)

Wage Range: $25 – $35 per hour (DOE)
