You will be a key leader in carrying out the organization’s digital strategy transformation initiatives and setting its long-term strategy to oversee and execute ongoing success. You must have successful experience in leading a small to medium sized organization through a database transition to Build, implement and continually oversees all technology functions. Drive growth in workforce learning and training by converting traditional business operations to digital ones, and oversee operations in the rapidly changing digital systems across the organization. You will be a highly cross-functional role as this person will partner and collaborate with executives, managers and individual contributors across the organization to ensure technology solutions meet organizational needs.

  • Responsible for all aspects of information technology management and control including implementing the Digital Strategy transformational roadmap and software tools recommended by our Digital Strategy consulting firm
  • Spearhead organizational change initiatives
  • Be the digital technology expert but also a general manager
  • Responsible for overseeing the adoption of digital technologies across the entire organization
  • Interfaces with IT, consultants and other vendors, provides oversight and accountability, and handles IT-related responsibilities not covered by service contracts
  • Oversee the overarching digital strategy and obtain buy-in from staff on the digital vision for the organization
  • Lead the technical strategy for internal and member-facing platforms and provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our learner journey initiative
  • Responsible for working with the executive team on all organizational technology, technical resources and related processes to ensure they are used efficiently, effectively and securely
  • Overseeing our outside technology consultant with the implementation of Digital Strategy roadmap including recommendations regarding tools and systems
  • Executing on contracts with vendors related to the main technology infrastructure
  • Adopting digital technologies across the organization and earning company-wide commitment to get staff on board with the overarching digital strategy
  • Understanding and furthering the existing digital strategy
  • Owning the strategy going forward and being responsible for the implementation of the company's digital roadmap
  • Regular meetings with the Chief of Finance and Administration and multiple vendors; liaison duties with third-party vendors and subject matter experts (SMEs) for all internal systems related to IT
  • Regular meetings with the Executive Director and Senior Staff to ensure they are consulted regarding upcoming changes to the Digital environment.
  • Connecting and measuring digital investments to enterprise KPIs in order to achieve positive digital transformation in line with our digital transformation strategy
  • Providing oversight to ensure that systems are up and running to maintain a safe technological environment along with the creation, implementation, and roll-out of policies to ensure correct systems designed to meet the needs of our members and staff
  • Overseeing technology budget, based on input from key stakeholders and leadership
  • Implementing new technology platforms, organizational settings configuration and manage vendor relationships as applicable in order to meet the needs of our members and staff
  • Overseeing the start-up technology needs for the future growth of our organization
  • Leading systems administration; thinking strategically and leading continuous audits of the organization’s technologies and systems; overseeing the smooth execution of those systems to meet the needs of our members driven by our goals and outcomes

  • Experience with implementation and administration
  • Experience in IT infrastructure planning and development, project management, and policy development
  • Broad relevant technical knowledge
  • Experience working with and managing vendors and IT services providers on day-to-day matters, as well as longer-term planning and implementation
  • Exceptional cross-functional skills and willingness to partner with colleagues to meet organizational goals
  • Operational/Function understanding of Internet technologies
  • Proven success as a technical leader
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Programming, Computer Science or related field; 7+ years of progressively responsible IT experience
  • 5+ years working in a managerial capacity in an IT environment or with educational technology or organizational technology infrastructure
  • Experience in a project management/supervision/coaching role preferred
  • Experience providing SaaS IT solutions preferred
