Business Systems Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Exemplify Stampin' Up!'s core values: we care about people first, we act with courage, we better our best, and we own it.
  2. Coordinate or hold Agile Ceremonies as appropriate.
  3. Develop and maintain a rapport with stakeholders by helping them plan, test, and execute their requirements.
  4. Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems.
  5. Analyze business and user needs and current process and document requirements, then translate them into proper system requirement specifications to achieve effective resource allocation and time management.
  6. Ensure all applications are appropriately supported and that software is operating; troubleshoot problems with software and advise developers as needed.
  7. Interface with business users at all levels to communicate systems capabilities and set expectations.
  8. Respond to production support needs as appropriate.
  9. Create and monitor project timelines as assigned.
  10. Interface with vendors in analyzing product capabilities, resolving system problems, and implementing enhancements.


  1. Bachelor's degree in I.T. field or related work experience.
  2. Information Technology experience, including experience with the complete development lifecycle with demonstrable increase in responsibility.
  3. Experience with Agile Methodologies.
  4. Must be able to communicate effectively on a technical and non-technical level so users can understand the system.
  5. Ability to develop cross-functional knowledge of various departments and their needs.
  6. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines, prioritizing internal customer needs and determining urgency and impact of request.
  7. Experience with common issue management software, Jira, Basecamp,, SolarWinds Service Desk, Azure Devops, etc.

Nice to haves

  1. SQL experience.
  2. Exposure to one major cloud provider such as, Azure, GCP, AWS.
  3. Experience with medium to large international e-commerce deployments.
  4. Experience with Direct Sales model.
