Asphalt Crew General Laborer

Stair Paving Inc is looking to add some Asphalt Crew General laborers to their growing team!! We have been in business for 10 years and are very family oriented. Responsibilities:

• General laborer duties associated with asphalt paving, patching, or prep crews.
• Required ability to shovel, rake and handle other small tools.
• Equipment cleanup as needed.
• May be called upon to run small power tools.
• Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
• Assist in the placement, moving, and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones, and other traffic control devices.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification/Requirement

• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, and dusty environments.
• Be able to work overtime when required.
• Must have a strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Communication skills; Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors, and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Must have a valid ID card or Drivers License

Position Type/Expected Hours

• This is a full-time position. Monday-Friday 6:30am to 4:00pm with occasional evening work when necessary.
