Responsibilities
- Guide customers through our ordering process in a fast-paced environment using world-class technology.
- Communicate with positive, friendly customers via phone, email, and chat.
- Help customers navigate our website and place orders online.
- Deliver single-contact resolution to customer inquiries including product knowledge, ordering, and shipment status.
- Coordinate with Accounting department on credit app, special payments, and returns.
- Work with various internal departments to meet our customers' needs.
- Drive conversion of product inquiries and questions into sales, ensure customers have been presented with all potential up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Work with customers to resolve product returns, shipping inquiries, and order status questions.
- Submit quotes for high-quantity orders and custom items.
- Follow up on quotes and maintain CRM.
- Develop resources to aid in resolving customer inquiries on products.
- Schedule appointments to reach out to customers and follow through to ensure that commitments are met.
- Actively engage in continuous sale training and improvement programs.
- May assist in training new employees.
- Participate in developing improvements and marketing programs for online stores.
Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred.
- 3 years of customer service required.
- Experience with or knowledge of hydraulic fittings, hoses, thread types, etc. is highly desirable.
- Can work well under pressure and deal effectively and professionally with customers.
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent mathematical and measurement skills.
- Mechanical or industrial aptitude and a willingness to learn the industry is acceptable in lieu of experience.
