You will operate a Class A Day Cab Tractor/Trailer - Flatbed and make deliveries as required to customer locations. No Flatbed experience necessary - they will train the right person!
You will be paid $22.00 per hour with OT after 40 hours.
Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition to ensure truck is safe &
Check Load and secure to D.O.T. Regulations. Make sure the load is safe and legal before moving.
Drive truck safely and legally to customer locations and return.
Open curtains, unstrap product, count and check product for damage and shortages.
Assist receivers in unloading and loading the truck.
Maintains driver logs and inspection reports according to D.O.T. regulations.
Maintain a professional image at all times.
Must be able to be forklift certified to aid in loading, unloading, and general warehouse work.
Must be able to work flexible schedule, with availability for 1-3 overnights per week
Must possess a valid commercial driver's license and medical card
- Self-Certified Inter-State Non-Excepted
- Must be registered with FMCSA Clearinghouse
- High School Degree or equivalent preferred
- Must have the ability to read, write, speak English and perform simple mathematical calculations with general mental abilities to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, maintain logs, etc.
- Must have 12 months previous verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean MVR - two or fewer moving violations in past 36 months
- Must be at least 23 years of age
