Customer Service Representative

Staffmark Irving, TX

This customer-focused position is responsible for answering all inbound calls from clients, website users, prospective residents and residents living in apartment communities across the US. The Customer Service Representative provides detailed information about specific apartment homes, assists residents with requests for facilities services, and assists callers with website use. The ideal candidate will possess an outgoing, dynamic personality with exceptional communication skills and keen attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer inbound phones in a high volume call center environment
  • Handle email or chat based customer inquiries efficiently
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism, availability, dependability, and flexibility
  • Deliver a highly professional customer service experience
  • Handle service request/work order calls with efficiency and accuracy
  • Process payments and handle billing inquires
  • Positively represent our client properties to prospects and current residents
  • Escalate issues to Team Leader when necessary
  • Receives regular direction from Team Leader

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • High School Diploma and two (2) or more years of experience in customer service
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Internet Explorer
  • Flexibility in schedule which may include nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred:

  • At least two (2) years of experience in real estate or leasing industry
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a high volume call center environment
  • Experience with Real Estate software applications; especially the following: CTI, MRI, JD Edwards, Skyline, Timberline, RentRoll, OneSite, AMSI, or Great Plains
  • Knowledge of Federal Fair Housing Laws
