Growing global chemical manufacturer is looking for a Customer Care Representative for their corporate headquarters in Northbrook. The Customer Care Rep will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of small to mid-sized customers and driving sales growth and retention. You would be the Customer Advocate for the customer from order placement and fulfillment and also growing the account and developing new business. You would be the liaison between the customer and the cross-functional internal teams to provide the timely and successful delivery of their solutions according to the customer needs.
This is a newly created role with opportunity for advancement. - Bachelors Degree or Equivalent required, Science degree preferred
- 3 years of Sales, Technical Service or Customer Service experience required
- 1-2 years of Inside Sales experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relations and create value required
- SAP and Salesforce.com experience preferred
