Client Relationship Manager

A Client Relationship Manager is responsible for supporting the relationship management team in getting new sales accounts and expanding the business relationship with existing clients through new product and service offerings.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Client Relationship Manager will serve as a “sales” assistant working with other departments to ensure client onboarding and requests are completed in a timely and effective manner.

Client Onboarding: provide post-sales support to the sales and relationship management teams

  • understand the customer's requirements and ensure all documentation is complete before submitting change and/or new business requests

  • suggest a product or service based on customer requirements

  • demonstrate/provide training on products and services

Day-to-day Client Support: manage multiple bank assignments and client day to day activity

  • maintain cordial and long-lasting relationships with customers

  • address questions and/or issues from the customer as escalated by the client success or implementation teams

  • retain existing customer-base

  • ensure premium services to high net-worth or premium customers

  • coordinate with other departments

Administrative duties include:

  • schedule appointments with clients through phone calls or meetings

  • serve as point-of-contact for client requests

  • set-up and maintain account information in Salesforce

Participate in ad hoc projects, as needed: client onboarding/conversions; transmission platform conversions; accounting system conversions; and client historical data gathering

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma

  • Bachelor's or associate's degree, preferred.

  • Experience of 1-3 years in account management, preferred

  • Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, written and spoken

  • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks with excellent follow-up

  • Ability to work independently with maximum effect; but also work well with others

  • Provide superior customer service to internal and external clients

  • Must be a strong leader who is able to solve problems creatively and efficiently

  • Must be comfortable using technology and be able to explain it to others

  • Must be detail-oriented
