Job Description
Our Food Manufacturing client in Mira Loma, is seeking an entry level Accounts Receivables Clerk. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk  

Under some supervision, the employee performs a full range of Accounts Receivables Clerk assignments using supervisor or other higher-level technician as guidance to perform daily assigned tasks.This individual is responsible for invoicing, cash application, credit and collection of past due accounts receivable.  The individual should be knowledgeable with excel. 

General Overall Duties: 

  1. Match SO, Picking Ticket, Customer PO, Invoice and File All Documents
  2. Email non-EDI customer Invoices
  3. Export EDI invoices: May include Invoice Export Testing for new EDI accounts
  4. Follows employee’s safety procedures
  5. Apply payments (EFT/Check) for all customers (daily)
  6. Collect mail. Separate and distribute
  7. Other functions as required by the senior accountant or Controller. 

Specific Skills and Abilities Required 

  1. Basic Accounting Experience/Knowledge
  2. Basic Excel knowledge
  3. Attention to Detail
  4. Deadline-Oriented 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  1. High School/ G.E.D
  2. Minimum 2-year experience on the field (Food Industry is a plus)
