Accounts Receivable Clerk:
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in our North Las Vegas, NV office. The A/R Clerk is responsible for ensuring the timely collection of payments by accurately posting live check and lockbox exception payments to the customers’ accounts, with a high priority in making collection calls to past due customers.
A/R Clerk Responsibilities:
Post all cash receipts records to the Great Plains platform for live checks and lockbox exception payments.Contact customers through collection calls or email communication on any past due and open invoices.Perform reconciliation of A/R accounts as necessary.Be able to pull remittance detail from our AR mailboxes to support customer payments.Send invoice and statement detail upon request to both internal and external customers as part of collections effort.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Receivable experienceStrong Microsoft Excel, Word skills requiredStrong attention to detail and accuracy with superior analytical capabilityExperience with Great Plains preferredMust be comfortable with making collection calls to past due customers.Must be comfortable with performing transactional responsibilitiesMust possess excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work proactively and with minimal supervisionStrong multi-tasking skillsAbility to work in a team environmentMust be comfortable working in a dynamic and changing environment.Ability to build relationships with various personalities and work as part of a team to achieve common business goals
