Government Contract Administrators with 2-3 years' experience in Aerospace - 70-80K plus bonus awaits!

College degree required and 6+ years’ experience in the field of contracts administrator / customer service representative, aerospace experience preferred. (College degree may be substituted by experience)
Knowledge of sales quotations, pricing, program management, sales correspondence, web-based customer order portals, knowledge of quotation practices, and internal status requests required.
Professional ability to communicate with customers in a diplomatic manner.
Highly collaborative and developed critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated ability to support and lead customer meetings in person and via phone.
Intermediate level experience or better with MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel programs.

Here's a snapshot of your day. If you have what it takes to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with high KPI standards and a Six Sigma/Lean Orientation, you will:
Accept, review, and process orders and RFQ's on Company products and performs related contracts, issues sales order and sales order changes, and sales administration work.
Work with minimal supervision.
Ensure that your assigned customer accounts are managed properly and take full responsibility for all elements of contract delivery and customer communication/satisfaction.
Work as required including quote finalization and submission, reviewing complex requests, preparing non-routine/specialized solutions and follow-up of contract requirements, and make frequent contact with customers.
Coordinate across the organization and with multiple departs to secure performance of a contract or information as required by customers.
Critically assesses which provisions of request must be brought to the attention of other departments and whether any exceptions must be made in
Follow up with customer and other internal departments to assure that work is performed, and information is supplied as required.
Decide priority of work to be performed on assigned accounts.
Coordinate with production control in deciding priority of customer needs in areas of schedule problems
In dealings with customers keeps alert to the possibilities of new or expanded business for both Company’s products and services; passes pertinent information to supervisor for appropriate follow-up and throughput.
Understanding of contract terms and conditions, working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and experience with cost/price analysis.
Understanding of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the compliance program in place.
