Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative (Tempe, AZ)
The customer service rep/dispatcher works in an office with a close-knit ROCKSTAR group of 2-4 people to make sure that each critical delivery happens on time and the customer is continuously informed of the progress of each delivery accuracy with numbers and detail, and the ability to multi-task is a must.
- Data enters job orders completely, accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Identifies critical information or special instructions and notifies dispatchers.
- Able to verify and follow directions precisely; including complicated directions.
- Responds to customer requests by phone, fax, and computer.
- Closes a job by verifying accurate information and providing customers with job specific details (time, signature and charges).
Customers require minute by minute status so it is the customer service rep's job to keep data updated. The volume of deliveries may fluctuate significantly during the day so he/she must be able to work with changing conditions. Customer Service Reps/Dispatchers are information processors; they deal with listening, interpreting, questioning, clarifying, verifying, and organizing information.
Our client is looking for an expericanced Customer Service Reps/Dispatchers to join their team.
Must coordinate with other dispatchers and customer service representatives and the operations supervisor or manager as necessary. Customer Service Reps/Dispatchers must be able to do all this without ever losing their cool. They must remain calm and helpful with all drivers, customers, and others in the process.
Monday / Tuesday / Thursday / Friday 3:00p - 7:00p
Saturday - Sunday 6:00a - 2:00p
32 hours per week.
